Welcome to Dizzy Stories

DizzyThe computer game character 'Dizzy' is an egg-shaped character with boxing gloves, devised by The Oliver Twins. He was the star of a number of successful 1980's computer games, primarily for the Sinclair Spectrum, but also released on the Amstrad, Commodore, PC, and NES.

DizzyAGE LogoAs with most successful game series, there has been a small but active fan-base ever since the series ended, and this fan base is centered on the forums at www.yolkfolk.com. In 2006 Alex Simion launched DizzyAGE, an Adventure Game Engine dedicated to Dizzy style games, which made it easier for fans to make their own Dizzy games in the original Spectrum style.

This website is intended to be a resource for all the games that I have made using DizzyAGE. This includes not just all the games, but also everything to do with those games, including walkthroughs and maps, as well as hopefully providing a small insight into how the games were made, and the thought processes behind them.

Enjoy! :)

Latest Update - 16/01/2012

Late last year I created a very small game, with as many puzzles as possible all squeezed into one room. The result is Log Cabin Dizzy, which you can download from the games page (now that I've finally been able to upload it!)
